Pop-Up Cafe
Small budget. Smaller footprint. Big impact.
I had the opportunity to work with TOMS Shoes as the Creative Director for CDS. Our goal was to reflect their philosophy, mission and product in a pop-up cafe & community workspace. To echo TOMS’ philanthropic ideals of minimizing our ecological footprint, I made an attempt to elevate common, renewable materials to another level while showcasing the brand’s globally minded product.
I combined warm tones, textiles, and repurposed flat files with 2 x 4’s, eco board and painted saw horses.
With a nod to mid century design masters, I created an accessible, comfortable, elevated space.
